Fencing & Sheds Norfolk

Quality boundary treatments and garden structures installed with precision and built to withstand the Norfolk weather.

About This Service

Good fencing defines your space, provides security and privacy, and sets the backdrop for everything else in your garden. Quality outbuildings add practical storage, workspace, or even a retreat from the house. At Lady Landscapers, we supply and install fencing, gates, sheds, summerhouses, and garden rooms to the same exacting standard as our landscaping work.

We install all types of domestic and commercial fencing including closeboard (featheredge), traditional lap panels, contemporary slatted screens, post and rail, picket, and estate fencing. All our fence posts are concreted into the ground (never just spiked in) and timber is pressure treated for long-term durability.

For boundaries that need to do more, we build brick and stone walls, rendered block walls with capping, and composite screening systems that combine the warmth of timber with virtually zero maintenance.

Our gate installations range from simple side gates to substantial driveway entrance gates in timber or metal. We fit all necessary hardware, ensure smooth operation, and can coordinate with electricians for automated gate systems.

On the structures side, we supply and erect sheds, workshops, summerhouses, log stores, bike stores, and bespoke garden buildings. We prepare proper bases (concrete pad or paving slab), assemble the structure, and handle all finishing including roofing felt, staining or painting, shelving, and electrics coordination.

We also dismantle and remove old fencing, sheds, and structures as part of the job, leaving your garden ready for the new installation without you having to arrange separate clearance.

“We needed 40 metres of fencing replaced after a storm. Lady Landscapers were prompt, efficient, and the new closeboard fencing looks fantastic. They also built us a lovely log store that matches perfectly.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does fencing last?

Pressure-treated closeboard fencing with concreted posts typically lasts 15 to 20 years. Lap panel fencing has a shorter lifespan of around 8 to 12 years. Concrete posts and gravel boards can extend the life of any fence significantly.

Who is responsible for boundary fencing?

Boundary ownership varies by property. Check your title deeds for a T-mark indicating responsibility. We can install fencing on your side of the boundary line to avoid disputes. We advise discussing plans with neighbours beforehand.

Do you remove old fencing?

Yes. Removal and disposal of old fencing and structures is included in our quote as standard. We are a licensed waste carrier so all materials are disposed of properly.

Can you install a shed on an uneven site?

Yes. We level the area and lay a proper base (concrete pad, paving slabs, or adjustable support system) before the structure goes up. A good base is essential for the longevity of any garden building.
